shanghai day 2 ...

woke at 0630 >< ...breakfast nth good ... maybe the hard boil egg ? ... last few days didn't eat eggs like that ... anyway the restaurant is damn small ... but the hotel got lots of guest ... damn stupid design ... build such a big hotel with such a small restaurant ... is crap ... oh btw in china when you have breakfast in hotel is anyhow sit de ... the tables are of 10 people and you ownself go sit ... they don't care about anything else ... and of course for their mainland ppl if there is nothing on that seat they will immediately sit on it ... must put something on the seat to chop it ...

after breakfast we went to this like olden days place ... there sell lots of things ... mostly food bah ... had soy bean latte from starbucks ... yuck ... taste damn weird ... and then you'll realise shanghai is colder than hokkaido eventhough the temperature can't match hokkaido ...








so as usual for any china trip they bring us to see jade ... after showing us so many jades its time for them to cheat our money ... okay thats a crude way to say ... maybe part with our money ... but they really overprice the whole thing ... a bangle 1800 can cut to 1000 ... then another one 1600 cut to 500 ... insane huh ... thats china for you ... then a ring i think ... from 800 drop to 50 ... you see how high they over price things ? ... its a tourist attraction and they just want to make money out of it ... because eventually they need to have the cashflow and the sales to go on ... thats why they are willing to sell it so low ... so after everyone parted with some part of their money its time for lunch ... lunch is still normal bah ... miss japanese food too much ? ... lol ...

then we are on our way to suzhou ... the journey is about 2 hours + ... first stop is a temple ... han shan shi ... the temple that poet talk about in his poem ... forgot who is it -_- ... inside the temple there's this 800 year old tree ... really looks like 800 years old cause it seems like its dying already ... after that its dinner time ... nth much as usual ... i can't expect much from china ...

so we go to some place to buy their local food bah ... got those little bites ... then we went to find the chestnut ? ... kao lak ... to me ... also not my type of food lol ... on the way of finding i saw a like bubble tea shop ... then thinking hmm okay lor buy drink try ... i see hmmm okay pineapple milk tea ... and when i receive the product i was shock ... HOT milk tea ??? ... wth ... first time i see but its really not bad ... then went to try their soya bean drink and you tiao ...

after that we went back to hotel ... wah the room is crap ... totally crap ... open concept toilet O.o ... and there's no lock for the toilet !!! wtf wtf ... totally sucks ...






as you can see we can see the toilet if you are in the room ... unless you close the curtains which is located in the room ... so anyone can just open and stare at you lol ...

and the best part is this ... its in the hotel room and if you want to use it you have to pay ... no wonder they put the toilet open concept ... SO THAT YOU ARE TEMPTED TO USE IT  !!! ...  good way to earn money lol ...
